Spore Music: History of the Moon + Original

Yeah, the full release of Spore came with a rather dandy (and infuriating) music composer that I just had to have a go at. Because of its limitations, I had to create the song with little pieces stuck together, and some of the song had to be improvised because the notes didn’t go low enough. That was my fault, anyways. I must have changed the key of the song a million times. =| Shh, it wasn’t easy… especially when it doesn’t tell you what note is what. It had to be all done by ear, in pieces. That equaled some disaster, sorry! Anyways, here’s Eirin’s theme song (History of the Moon) remixed quite badly in Spore. xd; I also included the original about 2 minutes in, after the remix. On a side note… Am I the first to post any Spore music? I haven’t seen any others on Youtube yet. oo

you should set up an MP3 (the spore version) Its much better than the origional!
actualy the Anthem create does gve u an idea of the notes, take some time and movwe a note up and down and count each spot it lands in on its way up Or down which ever u ove it
then u can count the spaces ad lines of the music thing

Anyhow, I managed to get a bastardized version of Zelda’s Song of Storms. So yay for me. :-/

PS, why aren’t there more spore anthems on youtube? You’d think people would go crazy over this, just like that Mario paint composer. Ah well.
Heh. Yeah, I tried. I tried to do the “spectre induction” theme from Mass Effect… but to no avail. It’s much harder doing it just by ear, the spore music interface is indeed too difficult to manage.

Even Animal Crossing has a somewhat reasonable music system, and that game is meant for like, 10 year olds.
I know exactly what you mean =/ They tried to make it way too child friendly.
I hate that composer. It should include the actual notes on the scale, not just floating, but whatever. Idiots.
